French EV maker celebrates 250th electric Berlingo for La Poste

French electric vehicle manufacturer Venturi has built the 250th Citroen Berlingo electric van for the French post office, La Poste.
In an effort to cut its CO2 emissions by 20% by 2015, La Poste has a fleet of electric vehicles and trains its drivers in eco-friendly driving techniques.
The 250 electric Berlingos will be used by postmen delivering mail in 13 urban areas in France: Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Nantes, Strasbourg, Rennes, Lille, Grenoble, Clermont-Ferrand, Limoges, Pau and Quimper.
The electric Berlingos are assembled in France in the Venturi-MVE (Manufacture de Véhicules Electriques) facility in Solesmes, France.
